In 2002 I began my career as a news photojournalist for the NBC affiliate in Cedar Rapids/Waterloo, Iowa. I am trained and certified by Avid to manage their non-linear editing systems.

I produce documentaries on RAGBRAI, the world's largest, longest, and oldest touring bike ride. This has given me great experience in all aspects of producing documentaries.

In August of 2007 I moved to Chicago to work as a freelance videographer. I have worked with national news organizations in breaking news situations as well as production companies to produce television commercials and documentaries. I am always looking to expand my knowledge of television and film.
